Boxwood Gulch Fishing Report for Thu, 30 Jun 2011


June was an exciting month. High, off colored water, allowed anglers to get right on top of a lot of huge fish. The numbers and size of the fish landed was remarkable. Ask Jim Oden and guide, Tim Schoenborn, how they did it.

June 11….2 anglers….60 landed… largest fish a 26 inch Cutbow….June 12….6 anglers…..190 landed, largest fish a 6lb Bow…..June 27….4 anglers….100+ landed…largest fish a 27inch Brown….June 30…..2 anglers….35 landed….largest a huge 27 inch Cutthroat.,

Hot flies were Pink San Juan, big Golden Stones, Prince, Black Pheasant Tails, various streamers.
