Boxwood Gulch Fishing Report for Tue, 30 Jul 2013

You Could Be Catching Fish Like This.
July fishing was better than great all month.
Ian is holding an example of the Brown Trout we have at Boxwood. (Blue Quill
guide, Pat Dorsey, took the photo and netted the fish.)

Hot flies in July were the following….Streamers, Hares Ear, Pheasant Tail,
egg patterns, leeches, Chamois worms, Caddis nymphs, Pats Rubber Legs,
pegged eggs….Don¹t worry about fly patterns. Your guide will have what’s
working.

July produced some really big fish…just like June……8-13 lb Rainbows,
24-28 inch Browns, 20 inch Palominos, 18 inch Tigers, 22 inch Cutbows, 18
inch fat Brookies. All in flows of 400 to 250 CFS. Nearly gin clear water
all month.

Call your favorite outfitter, from our list of Authorized Outfitters, or
call me for an available date. You will have a great time far from the
maddening crowds.
