- Large group rates
- 8 or more anglers, access both sections of water, nearly 3 miles of river for only $120.00 per angler. Winter rates for large groups (8 or more anglers) are only $75.00 per angler and you get all 3 miles of water and the use of the clubhouse. You need to book both sections of the river but you are getting the Long Meadow section for free.
(Above rates do not include guide fees, gratuities or lodging.) - Winter access fees (November 1, 2007 - March 31, 2008)
- $75.00/person at Boxwood Gulch. (With a $150.00 minimum.) The clubhouse is warm and cozy.
$50.00/person at Long Meadow Section. (With a $100.00 minimum.) No clubhouse.
Winter guide fees are the same as summer but some of our Authorized Outfitters offer special winter rates. Call them and discuss the possibilities. - Guide Fees
- Please contact one of our Authorized Outfitters. Guide fees vary depending on the size of your group and what you need to have provided. A typical example would be: 1 angler $295.00. Each additional angler $100.00. A second guide is usually provided for groups of more than three anglers.
- Guided trips only
- All trips must be guided by a Boxwood authorized guide/outfitter. Please see our list of Authorized Outfitters.
- Cancellation Policy:
- Since Boxwood only allows one group/your group on the river per day we must charge a cancellation fee of $350.00 at Boxwood Gulch and $250.00 at Long Meadow.
Check with your outfitter because they will need to be reimbursed for the cancelled trip as well. - License
- You must have a Colorado fishing license. You must obtain prior to arriving at the river.

- Boxwood Section · Only your group will be fishing the property.
- Semi-Private
- Long Meadow Section · It's not likely, but you may see one or two other anglers not in your group.
- Anglers Only
- No pets or children. Non-anglers are welcome but they are expected to pay the access fee.
- Catch and Release
- Barbless hooks are the only kind allowed at Boxwood Gulch and Long Meadow.
