September fishing is always just phenomenal at Boxwood and Long Meadow. Just like in the photo above, the big fish are looking for big stuff to eat and they are prowling the surface. Flows came down and the fish came up to eat about anything with a good drift.
My best suggestion is to book your September 2008 trip now.These are some results from just a few September trips.
9-02-07...4 anglers, 85 landed, largest a 6lb Rainbow.
9-08-07...2 anglers, 45 landed, largest a 6 lb Bow.
9-12-07...8 anglers, 150+ landed, largest a 22 inch Bow.... special note, 30 Browns were landed many over 18 inches.
9-27-07...3 anglers, 75 landed, including a monster 8 lb. Rainbow.
We are located just a scenic 60 minute drive from Denver on Hwy. 285. You will be fishing for huge trout, on a private ranch, with some of the best guides in Colorado and your group will be the only anglers on the River.
