Jordan Miller landed this 24.5 inch Brown Trout At Boxwood on August 7, 2008 on a Green Drake. The guide is Tom Whitley, guiding with John Hagen Outdoors. Jordan's dad sent me the photo along with a photo of Jordan's sister, Taylor, who also landed some beauties.
On your next trip consider bringing along a novice angler or a youngster. You will be introducing them to a sport they can do their entire life.
Some big fish caught so far in August...24.5 inch Brown, 18 inch Brookie, 27.75 inch Cutbow, 25 inch Rainbow, 20 inch Snake River Cutthroat, 2o inch Rio Grande Cutthroat, 16 inch Palomino Rainbow, 18 inch Tiger. All quality fish, all caught right here at Boxwood Gulch and Long Meadow in the good ole USA.
We are located just a scenic 60 minute drive from Denver on Hwy. 285. You will be fishing for huge trout, on a private ranch, with some of the best guides in Colorado and your group will be the only anglers on the River.
