July has been a great month for catching large fish and for catching quite a few fish of different species. Here are a few examples....July 16 trip of 6 anglers landed 100+ fish biggest 24 inch Cut....July 15 trip of 2 anglers landed 40 fish the largest a 29 inch Bow...July 9 trip of 10 anglers landed 85 fish the largest a 24 inch Brown....I could go on but you get the idea. Of course not every trip was as great as the best day. Angler skill, guide skill,weather, water, all factor in....The guides have a slogan of sorts that sums it up....A slow day at Boxwood would be considered a phenomenal day some place else.
Do you have a spouse, a girl or boy friend, that you would like to introduce to Trout fishing...Boxwood is the place. Natalie never fly fished before today and with some encouragement from Matt she landed this nice Rainbow in gin clear water at 450 cfs all by herself.....she promised that next time she will hold the fish.
Call one of our outfitters and book a trip....bring a friend ....get them hooked on fly fishing.
