We opened on March 28, 2012 after a hard Winter and a weird Spring. The fish were ready to take on anglers, and they did with plenty of fight and that uncanny ability to find every rock and snag in the stream.
One of our very loyal anglers, Dr. Staller, landed this beauty after quite a fight. The group reported landing close to 125 fish with the largest being a 22 inch Bow. One can only imagine how many fish they got to battle......some time the fish win. Hot flies were egg patterns, Black Beauties, and white streamers.
I feel confident that with this kind of opening day results that the fishing will continue to get even better...no kidding.....Dan
