Dr. Mike is holding a nice 20 inch Rainbow that he landed with the help of guide Tom Whittley. I asked the Doctor at the end of the day, "how many fish do you think you landed? His reply, "I think about 40."
This is an exceptional day of fishing for anyone but it happens regularly at Boxwood. It happened a lot in September.
The bugs that worked for Dr. Mike were a foam ant on the top and a special nymph/fly that his guide makes.
Just a reminder that rates go down on November 1. Sign up early for the best day of trout fishing you can have.
We are located just a scenic 60 minute drive from Denver on Hwy. 285. You will be fishing for huge trout, on a private ranch, with some of the best guides in Colorado and your group will be the only anglers on the River.
