May fishing was absolutely spectacular.
Early in the month we had flows of 100cfs then as the month progressed we experienced just enough run-off to raise the flow to 300cfs. The water took on a little color and the fished just turned on to anything that was presented. The guides always seemed to have the correct fly suggestions. Surface and sub-surface action was nearly non-stop.
I talked to many anglers who reported "landing" 30 fish with several in the 5 to 7 pound range. You might have the same experience on your next fishing trip if it is at Boxwood Gulch.
We are located just a scenic 60 minute drive from Denver on Hwy. 285. You will be fishing for huge trout, on a private ranch, with some of the best guides in Colorado and your group will be the only anglers on the River.
