This is the photo of Jeff and the "elusive Palomino." The fish is about 2 pounds. It took a fly that Jeff's wife tied.
Your guide will have all of the correct flies for your next trip to Boxwood. If you tie your own just give me a call for an up to the day report on what has been working.
I asked Jim, who was fishing with Jeff, what he thought about June fishing as compared to other months. He put it in perspective first by reminding me that he comes to Boxwood about 10 times per year at all different times including Winter. In a word June fishing is totally exciting. Where else can you expect to land 15-30 fish in a day with several of them in the 20 inch ++ size range?
