On August 14th a charity event was held at Boxwood for The Food Bank Of The Rockies. The Joe Sakic Celebrity Fly-Fishing Event raises money to provide meals for those in need. To date the event has raised well over $1.5 million.
Many of the guides who fish at Boxwood donate a day of their guiding to make the event especially successful, as evidenced by this nice Cutthroat caught by Adam Ronscavage and photographed by Mike Speer of Colorado Cast and Blast Photography.
Fishing remains better than excellent with most fish caught on the surface. Lots of 5 to 8 pound fish are being landed on almost every trip.
We are located just a scenic 60 minute drive from Denver on Hwy. 285. You will be fishing for huge trout, on a private ranch, with some of the best guides in Colorado and your group will be the only anglers on the River.
