Stacey Ferguson is holding a really nice rainbow, his client, Mike, landed on a picture perfect winter fishing trip at Boxwood. The fish is as big around as it is long and it put up quite a tussel but it was no match for the skill of Mike. I might mention that Mike landed a lot of fish and some much bigger ones than this.
We have had perfect water flows and great weather.In fact if the water flows stay like this we will have ice free fishing all winter.
Most of the dry fly action is over but the nymph fishing more than makes up for it. I have been looking at digital photos of 5 lb++ fish all month.
