It was Halloween and the monsters showed up to catch Monster trout at Boxwood. And they caught a lot of them, on dry flies, all day long. Larry lost track of how many 20 inch ++ fish he landed before lunch.
October is one of the best months to battle your own monster but you need to book the trip in August or earlier. Great weather, clear water, and hungry fish. Bring your own mask.
