Dear Dan:

I would like to thank you for your help with the US Youth Flyfishing Team this year. The practice session we had at Boxwood proved to be instrumental in the training we need to win the Individual Gold and Team Silver Medals at the World Championships in Whales. Our team was up against the best the world had to offer in both river fishing and lake fishing.

To say that the fishing conditions were difficult would be a gross understatement. The fish on the River Dee would prove to be very selective in how the fly was presented. And, the average fish on Llyn Brenig would put our equipment to the test with runs into our backing everytime. Boxwood was the perfect place to give us the experience we needed to prepare us for what was to come.

It was very generous of you to allow us to practice, on what in my opinion, is one of the best stretches of water in the US. I hope to stay in contact with you in the future. And, thus far I have recommended your facilities to everyone who has asked.
