After being temporarily closed due to low water and a long cold winter, Boxwood Gulch and Long Meadow will open on May 1. The fish are well rested and ready for a fight (See our Late April Fishing Report).
We did some test fishing on April 27. The results convinced us that the fish are ready for a fight on opening day May 1. 2 anglers fished from 11:30 to 4 pm. They landed 30 Trout fishing primarily pink San Juan Worms and egg patterns. They caught Rainbows, Brown, Brooks, Tigers and a Palomino. […]
